– Tommaso Ciampa successfully defended his NXT Championship against Velveteen Dream in the co-headliner of the Saturday’s (November 17, 2018) NXT TakeOver: WarGames II event in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center on the WWE Network. The finish of this title bout saw Ciampa hit Dream with a DDT on the steel partition plate between the two rings.

It will be interesting to see how WWE handles this feud going forward. WWE holds NXT TV tapings on Wednesday, November 28th in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University where WWE will have the fallout from this event as well as this match.
