A new match has been announced for the upcoming WWE TLC PPV.

WWE confirmed on this week’s episode of RAW that Braun Strowman would battle Baron Corbin at this show. There are some stipulations that go along with this contest. If Corbin wins, he’ll be the permanent GM of Raw, but if he loses, he’ll lose all authority. If Strowman wins, he’ll face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble. This will also be a TLC Match.

If you recall, a few weeks ago, local ads featured Strowman versus Drew McIntyre taking place at this year’s TLC event. However, that has changed and it all started at WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium on the WWE Network once Corbin attacked Strowman before he faced off with Lesnar for the Universal Title. Since then, WWE continued this storyline on their flagship show, RAW.

WWE presents the TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center that will air on the WWE Network. WWE will be announcing more matches for this show in the coming weeks. Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship is expected to headline TLC.
