Jim Ross addressed some of the speculation regarding his future on this week’s edition of The Jim Ross Report.

Whether it be with New Japan Pro Wrestling, or perhaps another promotion, Ross is adamant that wrestling fans have not heard the last of him on the AXS TV airwaves.

“I have not, as far as I’m concerned, broadcast my last match on AXS TV,” Ross said.
“I’m unable to get back on their air until past the end of March. But I am optimistic that I will, somewhere along the way in 2019, rejoin the team in some capacity.”

“Just saying, that’s all.”

Ross is under contract to WWE through March 2019, and his last appearance on AXS TV under his current contract with the network will take place at the end of December, as AXS airs a 10-hour Kenny Omega marathon.

Ross says that viewers can expect some great content from that broadcast.

“They sat him down in a hotel in Los Angeles and got some really fresh material about his journey,” Ross said.

“He’s a very cereberal, unique dude. I have a lot of respect for Kenny Omega.”
