Former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Cain Velasquez, wants to wrestle with WWE. The man who defeated Brock Lesnar at UFC 121 has already trained at the WWE Performance Center.

He was asked about the experience in an interview for WWE.com.

“My experience here has been amazing,” he said. “I’m just looking forward to being here and learning as much as I can. I’ve been a fan of the sport since I was a little kid, and now I get to participate in it.”

“I had a great time over the last couple days getting a few workouts in at the @wweperformctr and attending @wwenxt,” Velasquez later Tweeted. “Thanks to everyone at @wwe for the Invite and first-class treatment. #LuchaLibre”

At 36 years-of-age, Velasquez will have to make the jump in the next few years if he’s serious. According to his comments, however, Velasquez is still focussed on his fighting career. Injuries have hampered his career. He hasn’t fought since the summer of 2016 and has only fought 9 times over the last 9 years.
