Post-Wrestle Kingdom 13, we reported on a meeting that was held between All Elite Wrestling, Ring Of Honor, and NJPW. The gathering took place to assess the options available in developing an active working relationship between all 3 promotions.

At the time, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported that the companies wanted to work together and that brokering a deal was “not impossible by any means.”

Since that initial meeting, further news has broken regarding their potential business relationship.

According to Meltzer, NJPW and ROH will continue their long-standing relationship. It appears All Elite will not be involved in any capacity.

“New Japan has made the decision that they are going to work with Ring Of Honor and, right now, at least for now, they’re not working with All Elite,” Meltzer said.

Although this may be the case at the time of writing, that doesn’t eliminate further discussions or future negotiations.

No further word was available at this time regarding a relationship between AEW and ROH.

Their next event is Double Or Nothing. An event rally is currently scheduled to take place today (Jan. 8th)
