Will Kassius Ohno bask in Keith Lee’s glory?

A slugfest awaits the NXT Universe as Keith Lee and Kassius Ohno prepare for a seismic clash. After The Knockout Artist’s callous attack on Matt Riddle during the Jan. 2 edition of NXT, the “Limitless” Lee looks to avenge his “bro” in a sure-to-be physical contest. Also, Johnny Gargano returns for in-ring combat and Bianca Belair readies for NXT’s Women’s Title clash with Shayna Baszler.

The Street Profits vs. Metro Brothers (Chris and JC Metro)

Ford and Chris start things out, Ford is laughing a bit, but gets shoved. Ford then shoves him down to the mat, leaps over his opponent twice, dropkick, kip-up, and Ford finishes with a little dance. Dawkins tagged in and sends Chris down to the mat. Dawkins lifts Ford up and down on their opponent. Ford gets Dawkins amped up, and Dawkins goes a bit overboard mistakenly shoving Ford to the mat. Metro Brothers try to attack and both get punched to the mat, Ford laughs his head off and wants a tag in. Ford with a high elevation frog splash for the victory.

Winners: The Street Profits

- Post-match, The Forgotten Sons attack Ford and Dawkins. They try to fight back, but Ryker drops Dawkins. Ford tries to fight back in the ring, Ryker plants Ford to the mat. Crowd with a "we forgot you!" chant. Dawkins get into the ring, but gets dropped by the trio.

- Backstage, Cathy Kelley talks with Matt Riddle and Keith Lee. Kelley asks if Riddle will be in Lee's corner, but he say he's not medically cleared to be near the ring. Riddle continues that he hopes Lee leaves some of Ohno, so he can't finish him off.

- Random location, Aleister Black asks the NXT Champion Tommas Ciampa if he can feel it, their match is coming soon. Ciampa foolishly thinks he's safe, but Black fully plans on taking back his title and threatens to start the fight a little early, next week.

- Bianca Belair heads out to the ring, she gets on the mic and says after sending Nikki Cross packing, 2019 is her year and she's got 20/20 vision on that NXT Women's Championship. Belair says Shayna Baszler think she's the baddest with the the rest of the Four Horsewomen following behind her. Belair say she will being taking that title because she's undefeated, Baszler out to interrupt. Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke out with her. Baszler says she doesn't get see the "EST," she might be the strongest or fastest, but not the smartest. Baszler continues it doesn't matter how big or strong Belair's arms are, she's going to rip them off anyways. Belair responds, "Girl...nuh uh, the only things these arms are going to do is raise the title over her head."

Baszler says Belair is just like everyone else who comes out, but Belair is just afraid of the hype. Baszler says she's going to change Belair from "Undefeated" to "Overrated." Baszler says Shafir and Duke are the least of Belair's worries and backs them off. As Baszler backs them away and turns back to Belair, she gets slapped in the face. Belair dispatches Duke and bounces from the ring, laughing her way up the ramp.

Adrian Jaoude vs. Dominik Dijakovic

Jauode looking for the takedown, but doesn't have much luck early on. Dijakovic does get brought down, but tries to fight his way back to his feet. Fireman's carry takeover by Jaoude, they end up in the corner, Dijakovic finally landing a big shot to the back, more shots, vertical release suplex. Jauode back up and lands a couple more shots, big lariat, Dijakovic puts Jaoude in the torture rack position, flips him over, and lifts his knee into Jaoude's face.

Winner: Dominik Dijakovic

- War Raiders vignette where they celebrate their previous victories by burning some undisputed era chairs. The duo says Undisputed Era has had their reign, but Rowe and Hanson will be the ones to end it, and that is undisputed.

- Highlights are shown from NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool where James Drake and Zack Gibson captured the NXT UK Tag Titles, Finn Balor made a surprise appearance to beat Jordan Devlin, Dave Mastif won a No DQ match, Toni Storm became the new NXT UK Women's Champion, and Pete Dunne retained the WWE UK Championship against Joe Coffey. WALTER also made his debut.

Johnny Gargano vs. Humberto Carrillo

Gargano trying to chop down his opponent, back and forth wristlocks, Carrillo using some evasive maneuvers, kip-up, misses a kick, but nails an enziguri. Carrillo with a high elevation armdrag, Gargano out to the floor, Carrillo follows, gets lifted up to the apron, Gargano kicked in the face, recovers and hits Carrillo with his slingshot spear back in the ring. Gargano with a dropkick to the back of the next, cover, two. Abdominal stretch by Gargano, Carrillo fights out of it, hits a backspring elbow. Gargano tries to find safety on the floor, but gets cleared out with a twisting crossbody. Carrillo with a massive missile dropkick, standing moonsault, cover, two-count. He looks for a moonsault off the top rope, but meets Gargano's feet. Gargano lands a superkick, lawn dart into the second turnbuckle, slingshot DDT, pin, 1-2-3.

Winner: Johnny Gargano

- Post-match, Gargano tells NXT North American Champion Ricochet if he wants some respect, show up next week.

- Random location, Tommaso Ciampa says if Black refers to him as the "Puppet Master" then Black is the biggest "Puppet" of them all. He continues that Black wants him to show up next week to fight, but Ciampa says he only fights on the biggest stage, so they will wait, that's what big players do. Ciampa tells Black to listen closely, "Be careful, what you wish for."

- Velveteen Dream vignette that we saw previously. Dream runs down his 2018, how much of a success it was and he says 2019 will be something else. Dream will be on next week's show.

Keith Lee vs. Kassius Ohno

Ohno tries for a headlock, but Lee hits a shoulder block to send him down to the mat. Lee lifts Ohno up for a powerbomb, but Lee gets out of it, Lee leaps over Ohno, running crossbody, cover, two. Irish whip, but Ohno gets out of the ring when he hits the ropes. Lee looks to fly, but Ohno moves and takes his time getting back in the ring. Crowd with a "Oh! Bask in his glory!" chant. Lee goes out to get him, Ohno back into the ring, Lee catches Ohno's kick and pops him in the face. Big back body drop on Ohno.

Ohno avoids a charging Lee into the corner, Ohno with a big boot, punches, another couple kicks to the face. Ohno tries to irish whip Lee who grabs the ropes, Ohno with some big strikes. Forearm to the back of the head, cover, two. Ohno continues to maul his opponent, looks for a running senton, Lee gets his knees up. Lee lifts and sends Ohno across the ring, charges in the corner, gets sent to the apron, slingshot crossbody, pin, two. Ohno looking for mercy, but just finds more pain. Lee with a double chop to the chest, Ohno tries for a rolling elbow, but gets pounced. Lee lifts Ohno, Ohno who grabs the top rope and then shoves Lee, who knocks down the referee. While the referee is dazed, Ohno with a lowblow from behind, rolling elbow, pin, 1-2-3.

Winner: Kassius Ohno

- Post-match, Riddle goes down to the ring with referees close behind him. Ohno bails out of the ring as Riddle checks on Lee. Riddle yells at Ohno as the show closes.
