    WWE 205 Live Coverage - 22nd Jan, 2019
    Location: Wichita, Kansas
    Announcers: Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Aiden English..

    Drake Maverick welcomes us to the show and he says two matches will show a glimpse into the future of 205 Live. Humberto Carrillo faces Gran Metalik in his first 'official' match on 205 Live. Carrillo had an impressive performance and earned him a contract. What will happen? In the main event, the three men who will face Buddy Murphy will be in action. Any of them can beat Buddy Murphy. Who gains momentum going into Sunday?


    Aiden says he is here to give us a different perspective as well as make it the most dramatic show.

    Gran Metalik vs Humberto Carrillo

    They shake hands and lock up. Carrillo with a wrist lock. Metalik with a reversal and Carrillo with a reversal into a side head lock. Metalik with a head scissors but Carrillo with a cartwheel to land on his feet. Both men go for drop kicks and have a stalemate. Metalik with a chop and Irish whip but Carrillo floats over and does a back flip. Carrillo with an arm drag and wrist lock. Carrillo uses the ropes for a wrist lock take down. Carrillo with a corkscrew plancha onto Metalik.

    Carrillo gets a near fall. Carrillo with a suplex for a near fall. Carrillo goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault but Metalik gets his feet up. Metalik with a bulldog for a near fall. Metalik backs Carrillo into the turnbuckles and chops him. Metalik goes to the ropes and hits a springboard drop kick for a near fall. Metalik with a reverse chin lock. Metalik sends Carrillo to the mat and he returns to the reverse chin lock. Metalik gets Carrillo on his shoulders but Carrillo gets to his feet and he chops Metalik. Carrillo with a round kick for a near fall.

    They go to the apron and Metalik with a boot to the head. Carrillo with a thrust kick. Carrillo is sent over the ring post to the other side of the apron. Carrillo goes up top and sends Metalik face first into the apron with a bulldog but Carrillo lands on the floor and has trouble getting up. Carrillo goes to the turnbuckles again and hits a cross body for a near fall. Carrillo misses a charge into the corner and goes to the apron. Carrillo slaps Metalik but Metalik leaps over the top rope and hits a rana to the floor.

    Metalik sends Carrillo into the ring and he hits a springboard swanton for a near fall. Metalik puts Carrillo on the turnbuckles and chops him. Metalik with forearms as he goes to the turnbuckles. Metalik slaps Carrillo and sets for a superplex. Carrillo blocks it and Carrillo with forearms and he pushes Metalik off but Metalik lands on his feet. Carrillo with a boot and a missile drop kick. Carrillo goes up top and hits a headstand into an Arabian Press for the three count.

    Winner: Humberto Carrillo

    After the match:
    They shake hands.


    Backstage:
    We go to Drake Maverick in the back and he talks about Humberto Carrillo to Drew Gulak and Jack Gallagher.

    Drew and Jack are speechless. Drew screams as he leaves the room. Jack walks out.

    Tony Nese enters and he demands a rematch against Noam Dar.

    Drake likes the idea of a rubber match between the two and he will consider it. Drake says this takes time and he doesn't want to jump into it.

    Tony threatens Drake if he does not give him the rematch. He is sick of hearing Dar talk about his fluke victory. Tony says if he doesn't get the match, he will have to make his own opportunities.

    Backstage:
    Akira Tozawa says he has had some good times and bad times on 205 Live. He did not travel around the world to be a joke. He will become a two time Cruiserweight Champion.

    Backstage:
    Lince Dorado says 2019 will be a big year for the Lucha House Party. They are on Raw and 205 Live. He says there is one thing missing and that is the Cruiserweight championship. Kalisto says if one of them win, they all win. Kalisto will show that he is a threat to the Cruiserweight Championship. He will be the champion on Sunday and they will show the power of Lucha.

    We go to commercial.


    Kalisto vs Akira Tozawa vs Hideo Itami

    Before the match starts, Buddy Murphy's music plays and he makes his way to the ringside area to watch this match.

    Itami kicks Kalisto and Tozawa to take the early advantage and then he sends Tozawa to the floor. Kalisto with a kick to Itami followed by a head scissors take down and drop kick. Kalisto with chops and then he goes to the ropes for a springboard wrist lock take down. Tozawa goes up top and waits for Kalisto to turn around and Tozawa with a missile drop kick. Tozawa with a suicide dive head butt that sends Kalisto into the announce table. Itami hits Tozawa and sends Tozawa into Murphy. Itami sends Tozawa into the ringside barrier and he sends Kalisto into the ring steps.

    Itami kicks Tozawa and then sends him back into the ring. Itami gets a near fall. Itami with a knee to the midsection for a near fall. Itami with a kick to the back and then he kicks Kalisto off the apron to the floor. Tozawa with an elbow but Itami with kicks and a reverse chin lock. Tozawa gets his foot on the ropes to force Itami to release the hold. Itami with kicks to Tozawa and then he goes to the floor and exchanges chops with Kalisto and then connects with a kick to the head. Itami with a reverse chin lock on Tozawa.

    Tozawa with punches but Itami with a knee. Tozawa with a rana and Saito suplex to Itami. Kalisto goes for a springboard move and Tozawa hits him with a drop kick and Tozawa gets near falls on Kalisto and Itami. Kalisto goes to the apron while Itami backs into the corner. Tozawa with a forearm to send Kalisto off the apron to the floor. Itami with a clothesline to Tozawa for a near fall that is broken up by Kalisto. Itami, Tozawa, and Kalisto exchange forearms and chops. Itami adds a kick to Kalisto. Kalisto kicks Tozawa and Tozawa with a jab to Itami and Kalisto.

    Tozawa runs into a boot from Itami. Itami goes to the turnbuckles and drops Tozawa on the top rope. Itami goes up top and that allows Kalisto to hit a running boot to the head. Tozawa and Kalisto set for a double superplex on Itami. Buddy Murphy comes into the ring for a Tower of Doom. Buddy saunters around the ring and sends Itami into the turnbuckles and kicks him. Murphy with a forearm to Kalisto. Murphy does not leave Tozawa out of this and he connects with forearms.

    Kalisto kicks Murphy and then Tozawa with a boot to the head. Tozawa and Kalisto with a double super kick and Kalisto hits Salida Del Sol on Murphy. Tozawa with a suicide dive head butt to Murphy. Kalisto with a springboard senton onto Tozawa on the floor. Itami with a boot to knock Kalisto off the apron. Itami sends Tozawa into the ring and Itami with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall.

    Tozawa misses an enzuigiri but hits a spinning heel kick on Itami. Kalisto gets a near fall on Tozawa. Kalisto with a running shoulder to Tozawa in the corner. Kalisto with an enzuigiri after putting Tozawa on the turnbuckles. Kalisto sets for a superplex but Itami with a forearm to Kalisto's back. Kalisto with a head butt to Itami and then Itami is sent to the floor with a back body drop. Kalisto with an enzuigiri to Tozawa and Tozawa holds on to the ropes on a Frankensteiner attempt. Tozawa misses the back senton and Itami with a hesitation drop kick on Kalisto and then he hits the knee to Tozawa's head for the three count.

    Winner: Hideo Itami

    We go to credits.
