Last week, Chris Jericho released a podcast where he detailed the timeline of his involvement with All Elite Wrestling. During the show, he mentioned he received one of the greatest payday’s of his career for his appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jericho made $100,000 for the Greatest Royal Rumble, the same amount he made per match as part of his deal with NJPW.

“The belief is Jericho got $100,000 for the Saudi show, the same as his New Japan per-match deal,” Dave Meltzer wrote.

Jericho’s podcast from last week revealed plenty of previously unknown information. He revealed that Tony Khan’s private jet flew him from a Fozzy concert to All In on September 1st. Jericho also spoke about meeting with Tony Khan a few weeks later when Fozzy played a show in Jacksonville.

“We happened to have a Fozzy gig in Jacksonville, FL around that same time (September 26th),” Jericho said. “That was when I had a meeting with Tony Khan for four hours and really had a chance to get to know this guy.”

“That’s when I realized this guy really wants to do this,” Jericho continued.
