WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley appears to have complete focus on his pro wrestling career these days. Still, this has not kept fans from wondering about the state of his pro-MMA career.

He’s under contract with Bellator MMA, which is owned by Viacom and spearheaded by President Scott Coker. Lashley last competed against Josh Appelt in October of 2016 and holds a pro-MMA record of 15-2.

American Top Team manager and owner Dan Lambert spoke with Fightful about a wide range of topics including how he believes fans have seen the last Lashley competing in the MMA cage.

“I’d be surprised if Bobby got back.” Lambert would continue by stating that Lashley’s an athletic guy and has some talent as he could still win fights. He even went as far as stating that he’s in a division that’s not the deepest and there are a lot of fighters that he could beat.

Lashley captured the Intercontinental Title when he beat Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match on the January 14th episode of Monday Night RAW. This marks the first time that Lashley has held the title.
