Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows recently took part in an interview where they discussed AEW and when WWE decided to disband the Club. The former 3x IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team champions told reporter Chris Van Vliet they are happy for their friends in the Elite but wished they were in WWE with them.

“We’re happy for our friends, we think those guys will do great,” Gallows said in regards to AEW. “They’ve done great around the world. We wish we could have them here with us but we wish them the best in their new endeavor.”

“Happy for our friends,” Anderson added. “Happy for the industry and I hope everybody succeeds.”

The topic of WWE’s version of Bullet Club, aptly named “the Club”, was also discussed in the interview.

“When AJ Styles got drafted to Smackdown and the story stopped,” Anderson said. “There you go.”
“It came to a screeching halt,” added Gallows.

“When the writers decided it needed to stop,” Anderson said.

“Well we could have continued but you need some screen time, you know what I mean brother?” asked Gallows.
