New matches are locally advertised for Fastlane, the final WWE pay-per-view event before WrestleMania 35:

Originally, Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins, WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles, and Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair was advertised.

However, now, the opponents for Bryan and Lashley have changed. Lynch vs. Flair is still being advertised. Here are the new matches being advertised:

  • Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. WWE Champion Daniel Bryan
  • Finn Balor vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley

WWE often takes full advantage of the “card subject to change” disclaimer, so it’s possible they will go in a different direction with at least one of these matches. These matches indicate where WWE’s storyline plans are headed in the months ahead.

This show serves as the final stop before WrestleMania 35 as Fastlane is historically an event that wraps up storylines before the ones started for the biggest event of the year for the company.

The Fastlane pay-per-view event takes place on March 10, 2019 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio and will air on the WWE Network.

Two big matches for WrestleMania 35 have also been set as they are Men’s Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship as well as Women’s Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch challenging RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. This women’s match could change with the Lynch vs. Flair match at Fastlane could very well set the stage for that change.
