Ricochet and Adam Cole reignite heated history

Ricochet and Adam Cole have rekindled their rivalry, as both Superstars prepare to turn their NXT North American Title ambitions into action in a much-anticipated TakeOver: Brooklyn IV sequel. Plus, Kassius Ohno prepares to address the NXT Universe, and The Street Profits take to the ring.

We head to the ring for tonight's first match

Dominik Dijakovic vs. Shane Thorne

They lock up and Dijakovic rakes the eyes and backs Thorne into the corner. Thorne pushes Dijakovic and Dijakovic sends Thorne into the ropes. Thorne drops the arm on the top rope. Thorne focuses on the arm and punches Dijakovic and wraps the arm in the ropes. Thorne with kicks and a drop kick. Thorne with kicks to the back and shoulder. Thorne with a wrist lock and he tries to work on the shoulder. Dijakovic with a forearm but Thorne holds on to the wrist lock. Dijakovic with forearms and a clothesline. Dijakovic favors his left arm and Dijakovic with kicks and a back elbow followed by a release suplex. Dijakovic grabs Thorne by the throat but Thorne with an arm bar.

Thorne iwth a European uppercut followed by a Saito suplex. Thorne goes up top but Dijakovic with a slap. Thorne with a forearm and Dijakovic goes to the turnbuckles. Dijakovic with forearms to teh back and he sets for a superplex but Thorne blocks it and punches the injure darm. Dijakovic is pushed off the turnbuckles but he lands on his feet and Dijakovic with a super kick to send Thorne to the floor. Dijakovic with a twisting cross body onto Thorne on the floor. Dijakovic with Feast Your Eyes for the three count.

Adam Cole says he is sick of hearing they had a bad start to 2019. Have you heard of ups and downs or speed bumps. Kyle says step one is regain the Tag Titles and step two is prove that they are the best tag team. Bobby Fish says they are the Undisputed Era. They claim and take what is theirs. Strong says this excites them. Bobby and Kyle getting the tag titles again means that he can get some singles gold. They will all be dripping in gold in 2019. Adam says they will have all the gold that NXT has to offer. Cole says it starts with Ricochet tonight. He is a one trick pony and a flash in the pan. They will show NXT and Ricochet that 2019 is the Year of the Undisputed.

We are back with a look at last week's six woman tag match and Io Shirai pinning the NXT Women's Champion.

We go to comments from Io after the match. She says she showed that she can beat Shayna. She is coming for the NXT Women's Championship. She will be NXT Women's Champion. Kairi says Shayna better watch out.

Bianca Belair says before you talk about what happened tonight, she had Shayna beaten at Takeover and during the match. She tells them to step back.

Humbero Carrillo and Stacey Ervin Jr. are in the ring and . . .

Before their opponents come to the ring, Kassius Ohno comes out and he says it has been a tumultous two years. He says he was watching the monitors and he sees a lot of familiar faces, the notorious Full Sail Crowd. Ohno says he has to tell them from the bottom of his heart that each and every one of you make him sick. The noises you make, the chants you make, and the faces you make. Ohno says he is out of here. He is going to go somewhere where he can show that he is the best.

Keith Lee comes out and he hits a forearm to knock Ohno down.

Keith takes the mic and he says Oh . . . No. Then he says oh my god. This could have been so much worse. He could have hit Ohno in the dangly bits like you did. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out of here.

Keith apologizes for the interruption and he wants to keep this show rolling.

Humberto Carrillo and Stacey Ervin Jr. vs Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins

Carrillo and Ford start things off and Carrillo with a side head lock and he holds on when Ford tries to send him off the ropes. Carrillo with a shoulder tackle. Ford with a leg sweep and cover and then both men go for drop kicks at the same time. Carrillo offers his hand and Ford shakes it. Ford with a kick and forearm to the back. Ford sends Carrillo into the turnbuckles and Dawkins tags in. Dawkins with punches and Ford tags in. Ford with a forearm after a punch from Dawkins. Ford with an Irish whip but Carrillo floats over and Carrillo with a flip. Carrillo with arm drags into an arm bar.

Dawkins tags in and Dawkins with a shoulder tackle when Carrillo does not realize the tag was mad. Carrillo misses a round kick but does not miss a jumping round kick. Ervin tags in and they hit a double drop kick. Ervin with a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Dawkins with a spear on Ervin. Ford tags in and Dawkins with kicks. Ford gets a near fall. Ford with a forearm to the back and a kick to the midsection. Ford with a reverse chin lock. Ervin powers out of the hold but Ford with a forearm to the back and Ford with a belly-to-back suplex. Ford gets a near fall.

Dawkins tags in and they go for a double belly-to-back suplex but Ervin lands on his feet and he tags in Carrillo. Carrillo punches Dawkins and hits a handspring back elbow. Carrillo with a springboard arm darg to Ford. Carrillo with a palm strike and he goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Carrillo with a rolling moonsault for a near fall. Ervin tags in and he hits a moonsault for a near fall. Ford sends Carrillo into the turnbuckles and Ford is sent to the apron. Dawkins with a punch to Carrillo and Dawkins blocks a rana and Ford with a Blockbuster and Electric Chair drop combination for the three count.

Winners: Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins

After the match, Montez and Angelo get on the mic and Montez says they want a piece of the action for the tag titles. Montez says NXT has been a rollercoaster for them. It is a fun ride, but but any time, they are ready to go to war when given the ball. Montez tells the War Raiders if war is what they want . . .

Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel make their way to the stage.

Marcel tells them nein. Opportunities around here are sacred. No one deserves an opportunity at the War Raiders more than them. Marcel tells the Street Profits to stand aside.

Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan make their way to the ring to join the tag team party.

They argue until the NXT Tag Team Champions, the War Raiders make their way to the stage.

Rowe says there is an awful lot of talking about their titles, but no fighting. Hanson says if you want these titles, they are right here. Make a move.

Hanson and Rowe walk to the ring and Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Bobby Fish attack the War Raiders. The War Raiders are pushed into the ring and there is pandemonium. Eventually, the War Raiders stand alone in the ring after Rowe press slams Oney Lorcan onto everyone.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Johnny Gargano says that his emotions got the best of him in 2018. Johnny says the only person who knows what is best for Johnny Gargano is Johnny Gargano. Johnny says he knows what his destiny is. It took a while to find out. Johnny says he will show the locker room how dangerous he can be. Then we see Johnny at the Royal Rumble and his return to Full Sail.

Next week, Johnny defends the NXT North American Championship next week against Velveteen Dream.

Taynara Conti vs Aliyah

Conti with a take down and cover for a near fall. Aliyah with a bridge and she grabs Conti by the hair. Conti with an arm bar take down and Aliyah gets to the ropes to force a break. Aliyah with an elbow and bulldog.

Vanessa Borne makes her way to the ring to watch.

Aliyah with a forearm and fireman's carry and she grabs Conti by the hair and kicks her in the back for a near fall. Conti blocks a kick and takes Aliyah down and gets a near fall. Conti with a rollup for a near fall. Conti sends Aliyah into the turnbuckles and then takes Aliyah to the mat with judo take downs. Conti with a bicycle kick with some Portuguese taunting. Conti goes to the turnbuckles but Aliyah tries to stop her. Conti with an arm bar in the ropes. Borne grabs Conti by the foot and Aliyah with a press slam from the turnbuckles. Aliyah with a kimura and kicks to the back to force a tap out.

Winner: Aliyah

After the match, Vanessa Borne enters the ring and raises Aliyah's hand.

NXT Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler makes her way to the ring and Aliyah and Borne realize it is better not to stay in the ring.

Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke attack Aliyah and Borne from behind.

Shafir with a fireman's carry and kick from Duke. Baszler with a gutwrench gourdbuster to Conti.

Baszler says this is their reality. Do not get in their way. Do not question them. Do not piss them off.

Ricochet walks in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back with a video for Velveteen Dream. He asks if he can handle the pressure. He says that he can make bold claims because he can live up to them.

Ricochet vs Adam Cole

They lock up and go around the ring. Cole with a kick on the break and he connects with more kicks and a forearm. Ricochet with a back elbow and punches. Cole with a kick and forearms. Ricochet with a handstand head scissors take down and drop kick that sends Cole to the floor. Ricochet with a suicide dive and then he punches Cole on the ramp. Ricochet sends Cole back into the ring and Cole with a knee. Ricochet with an enzuigiri. Ricochet goes to the turnbuckles and Cole stops him and tries for a sunset flip power bomb but Ricochet holds on to the ropes. Cole with a thrust kick and Ricochet's left leg is caught in the turnbuckles and Cole with more kicks. Cole wrings the injured leg into the ring post.

Cole kicks Ricochet as Ricochet tries to protect his injured leg. Cole wraps the injured leg in the ropes. Cole kicks the leg. Cole with a dragon screw leg whip. Cole kicks Ricochet in the back of the leg to send Ricochet back to the mat. Cole avoids an enzuigiri and Cole drives the knee into the mat. Cole kicks Ricochet in the leg and then he drops down on the knee after a step over toe hold. Cole kicks Ricochet in the hamstring. Cole with more kicks and then the referee warns Cole. Cole with a knee bar. Ricochet kicks Cole in the head to escape the hold. Cole with a drop kick to the injured knee.

Cole kicks Ricochet in the back and then tries for an atomic drop to the knee but Ricochet with a punch. Ricochet lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt but his knee gives out. Ricochet goes for a rolling jumping DDT but his knee gives out. Ricochet with a clothesline and kick. Ricochet sends Cole into the turnbuckles and then hits a Tiger Feint Kick. Ricochet with a European uppercut off the turnbuckles followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ricochet cannot get Cole on his shoulders. Cole with a kick to the knee and he follows with forearms. Cole puts Ricochet on the turnbuckles. Ricochet kicks Cole and Cole kicks back and hits an Ushigoroshi for a near fall.

Cole with a front face lock and Ricochet blocks a suplex attempt. Cole with a forearm to the back and Ricochet lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Ricochet with a Northern Lights suplex and he tries for another suplex but Cole with a brainbuster shoulder breaker for a near fall. Cole pulls down the knee pad but misses the Last Shot and Ricochet with a rollup for a near fall. Cole with a thrust kick to the knee but he misses the Last Shot and Ricochet with a reverse rana. Ricochet struggles to get to the apron and the turnbuckles but his knee gives out as he climbs. Ricochet with a one leg springboard senton to the legs for a near fall. Ricochet cannot get Cole on his shoulders and Cole with an elbow. Cole with a forearm and Ricochet fires back. Ricochet with a European uppercut.

Cole with a kick to the injured knee but Ricochet with an uppercut. Cole with a kick and Ricochet with a jumping knee. Cole with an enzuigiri and Ricochet misses a Pele Kick. Cole with a super kick for a near fall. Cole with a front face lock and he hits Ricochet with a forearm. Cole puts Ricochet on the turnbuckles and connects with a forearm. Ricochet gets to his feet and he stops Cole. Ricochet goes to the ropes and Cole with elbows to the knee. Ricochet is knocked off the turnbuckles. Cole picks up Ricochet but Ricochet with punches. Ricochet with a Frankensteiner and axe kick to the back of the head. Ricochet with a Northern Lights suplex and he rolls through into a suplex and he hits Vertigo for the three count.

After the match, Strong, O'Reilly, and Fish attack Ricochet.

Aleister Black makes his way to the ring and Cole with a super kick to Black and Strong with End of Heartache.
