Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez has made it clear that not only is he a pro wrestling fan but has some interest in making that transition. He’s already tried his hand at it as he trained with WWE staff this past Summer during a visit to the WWE Performance Center down in Orlando Florida.

The UFC star spoke about his future in the WWE during a recent interview with MMA Fighting in order to promote his next fight. “Hell yeah. I am [interested in it]. The transition was pretty easy.“

Velasquez would continue by stating that he’s athletic for a big guy and has never been someone that sits in a classroom and learn that way. Instead, he likes to get in there and mix it up.

“I’m not looking to just do it half-a**ed and do some appearances.” He would added, “If I do it, I’m gonna do it 100 percent.”

He will take on title contender Francis Ngannou in the headliner of UFC on ESPN 1 this Saturday at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
