It looks like things aren’t going too well for UFC Hall Of Famer Matt Hughes. TMZ is reporting that Hughes has been hit with a restraining order by both his wife and brother. Court documents reveal that Hughes’ wife, Audra, has filed for and been granted a 500-foot restraining order against her husband. Matt nearly lost his life in a tragic accident back in June of 2017 when his truck was struck by a train.

However, shortly after his recovery in September or October of the same year, Audra claims Matt roughed her up in the shower. She refused to give Matt his truck keys because he wasn’t allowed to drive due to his brain injury:

“I told him he can’t have them because he shouldn’t drive due to his DAI (brain injury).”

Matt responded by choking Audra and asking for the code to his gun vault. When she refused he smashed her head against the wall and screamed, “This is what choking is!” Nearly a year later in July of 2018, Matt allegedly told Audra, “I’m going to f*cking shoot you,” after she took his phone and claimed he “was communicating with multiple women.”

Then, in December of 2018, Matt allegedly hit Audra in front of their son, daughter, and Audra’s step-father after she accused him of texting other women. The following day, Audra filed for the restraining order for herself and their children. As for the restraining order from Matt’s twin brother, Mark, the issue seems to have stemmed over a tractor.

The brothers apparently had a disagreement over who actually owned the tractor. Matt then saw Mark’s 15-year-old son riding the tractor and lost it. Matt allegedly grabbed the boy, shook him, and said that it was his “f*cking tractor.” A week later in September of 2018, Matt is accused of dousing the tractor and its surrounding area with gasoline in an attempt to destroy it.

The following day, Mark filed for a restraining order against the former UFC welterweight champion for himself, his son, and his family.
