Former WWE star Tye Dillinger is moving forward with the new lease on his pro wrestling career. It was announced last week by the WWE that they had granted his release from the company.

Thus, he recently announced on his official Twitter account, which has since been changed over to his real name, Shawn Spears, that he will be accepting indie pro wrestling bookings for shows after May 31st, 2019. He also made it known that he’s available now for select signings and appearances. He wrote the following:

“Ok, under 2 weeks out and my excitement is already building. So, Let’s get to work. NOW accepting bookings for shows after May. 31st, 2019 and available now for select signings and appearances. Thank you all and I look forward to this.”

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler also offered some praise to Dillinger:

Shawn Spears is a multi-faceted, asset to any company out there!

This comes after earlier this week he put out a lengthy statement announcing that he had asked to be released from his contract. He worked under the WWE banner as recently as February 18 against EC3 at a live event.

Dillinger had two stints with the WWE with the latest run starting in 2013 on the NXT brand. He would later be called up to the main roster in 2017.
