On Wednesday, NJPW announced the full schedule for the G1 Climax 29, which is the biggest tournament of the year for the promotion.

This is where it was revealed that the tournament will kick off at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on July 6. This marks the first time that the tournament will begin outside of Japan.

The winner of the tournament will receive an opportunity at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom next January.

As of this writing, the competitors who will be participating in the tournament have yet to be announced but is expected to be in the coming months.
