Tuesday’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live from Indianapolis, IN at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse averaged 2.208 million viewers, up from 2.198 million the previous week, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

The show had to go up against Curse of Oak Island on History that did
3.635 million viewers, Rachel Maddow Show with 2.733, and Project Blue Book that drew 2.800.

Matches that took place on this show include The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection (Bayley & Sasha Banks) in a non-title match as well as a gauntlet match that took up the entire second hour. Kofi Kingston beat Cesaro, Randy Orton and Rowan and Samoa Joe and Sheamus.

However, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon announced at the end of the show that despite Kofi winning this contest and earning the right to challenge WWE Champion Daniel Bryan for the title at WrestleMania 35, he would have to also beat Bryan to do so. However, he failed and Bryan won the match.

WWE hyped WrestleMania 35 and the matches taking place at that show. In case you missed the show, you can check out the 4 takeaways from it here.
