Starrcast II just picked up another huge name for its lineup. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes announced on Twitter tonight (Mon. April 1, 2019) that Angle will, in fact, be part of the event:

It’s true

It’s damn true

Kurt Angle is coming to Starrcast II!

Angle joins names like The Undertaker, Sting, Bret Hart, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash, Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Bruce Prichard, Tony Schiavone, and many more. Starrcast II takes place from May 23 to 26 in Las Vegas. The action all goes down at the Caesars Palace – Tuscany Suites & Casino. For more information please visit here.

As for Angle, he is currently approaching his final match with WWE. The WWE Hall Of Famer will face Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 this weekend (Sun. April 7, 2019) from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The match is being advertised as Angle’s final match in WWE.

He has been on a retirement tour on both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live in recent weeks leading up to the match. It remains to be seen what Angle’s affiliation with the company will be after WrestleMania. We already know one WWE Legend’s appearance at Starrcast II has caused quite the stir within WWE.
