AEW has signed another talent to their women’s division. The promotion announced recently that Hikaru Shida will join the upstart promotion.

The 30-year-old from the Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan is a 12-year pro and has an acting background as well. Most recently, Shida has been wrestling for the OZ Academy promotion in Japan. AEW’s Aja Kong has been a frequent opponent of Shida’s in the promotion over the years.

Shida wrestled for 6-years in the Ice Ribbon promotion as well. She has also wrestled with the Sendai Girls promotion, where she’s worked a few matches against another AEW roster member, Nyla Rose.

She has appeared in 7 films, including 2010’s “Mutant Girls Squad” and 8 television shows.
