After Smackdown went off the air last night, several new names were revealed as heading to the blue brand. One of those names was the Riott Squad’s Liv Morgan. The move means Morgan will be separated from Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott for the first time since debuting on the main roster.

Morgan sent out the following statement on Twitter in response to her move to Smackdown:

Morgan does state in her message that this isn’t the end of the Riott Squad and she is looking forward to seeing what the members of the faction can do apart.

The Riott Squad made their debut on the November 21st, 2017 episode of Monday Night Raw. At the time, they were 3 of 5 female talents from NXT who were debuting on the main roster, the other two being Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.

During their time together as a unit, the Riott Squad found themselves in high-profile rivalries with Ronda Rousey, the Bella Twins and several other top stars on the roster. In the build-up to WrestleMania 35, all 3 members of the Riott Squad were frequently matched up against Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, or Ronda Rousey.
