The Jon Moxley promo Dean Ambrose dropped this Wednesday is still creating buzz and there are a lot of rumors and speculations about the meaning behind the footage.

One such speculation is that WWE is behind the whole angle and during a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray talked about this idea.

Bully first said that the problem with WWE being behind the promo is that the equity they have built up with the Dean Ambrose name would be gone if they decide to use him as Jon Moxley.

He explained that Ambrose would basically be starting from day one as a new character. They will have to make new action figures and merchandise for Jon Moxley while they would be leaving the Ambrose character in which they have invested a lot of money.

However continuing on the topic, Ray said that he is not saying this can’t happen because if there is anything he has learned when it comes to the WWE world is that anything can be done.

According to him, if Vince McMahon can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars blowing up limousines and turning over tractor trailers just to get Braun Strowman over in a three-minute segment, there is nothing suggesting that he can’t decide to scrap the 10 years build of the character.

Though finally, the WWE Hall Of Famer claimed that he is not on board with this idea because even if Ambrose returns to WWE with a new name he will still be feuding with the same people. You can check out his comments below:
