We have heard some worrying rumors about the health of the former WWE Champion Sheamus, however, one of his closest friends Drew McIntyre is denying these report.

McIntyre was recently interviewed by talkSPORT and when asked about the Celtic Warrior, the Scottish Psychopath said that he is proud of everything he has done but we shouldn’t believe everything we read on the internet:

“To see him go on and win multiple titles, Royal Rumbles, Money In The Banks and pretty much everything you can win is really awesome, I’m so proud of everything he’s done, but I wouldn’t believe everything you read on the internet.”

For those who don’t know, Sheamus competed at WrestleMania but he hasn’t been featured much on WWE programming after that. The former World Champion has been off TV since before the Superstar Shakeup.

He reportedly suffered a concussion during a 6 Men Tag Team match on the SmackDown episode following WrestleMania and the company has kept him away from WWE programming ever since.

His history with spinal stenosis has also been a matter of discussion and some reports have gone as far as suggesting that the former United States Champion might be nearing the end of his career.
