The first match has been announced for the next pay-per-view event presented by ROH, Best in the World.

ROH World Television Champion Shane Taylor will meet Bandido at the PPV. The news was made in the latest article by Kevin Eck on ROH’s website.

Taylor won the strap when he beat Jeff Cobb, Hirooki Goto, and Brody King in Four Corner Survival Match earlier this month at the War of the Worlds: Toronto event.

The Best in the World pay-per-view event takes place on June 28 in Baltimore, Maryland at the UMBC Event Center. ROH hyped this event as “Baltimore is a city steeped in pro wrestling history, and Ring of Honor has been a part of that history for years. The tradition continues this summer with ROH bringing the Best in the World PPV to Charm City.”

Jay Lethal, Jeff Cobb, Villain Enterprises (PCO & Brody King), The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe), The Kingdom (MTK O’Ryan & Vinny Marseglia), ?Dalton Castle & The Boys, RUSH, ?Mark Haskins, Kenny King, Silas Young, “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams, The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas), and The Stars of Women of Honor are all advertised to appear at the show.

The promotion will be announcing more matches for this show in the coming weeks. ROH will also be taping episodes of their weekly television show the following night in Philadelphia, PA at the 2300 Arena.
