AJ Styles was the first member of Bullet Club to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Styles joined the group in 2014 just as Prince Devitt was leaving. In an interview with French-language media outlet C’est ca le Catch while in Paris, Styles spoke on the current state of Bullet Club.

“(They’ve) still got some great guys there,”
Styles said regarding the stable. “It’s doing just as well as it ever has. A lot of people have left but they still are the Bullet Club no matter what. There’s a lot of guys who didn’t leave.”

Styles took some time to heavily praise “Switchblade” Jay White during the interview.

“Jay White will definitely lead them in the right direction,” Styles continued. “I knew he was going to be a star the moment I met him when he was a young boy. He had it, you knew he wanted it worse than anybody else. I knew all along he was going to be successful.”

Styles would continue to say White is someone he’d like to face in WWE.
