Kevin Owens won’t be at Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on June 7th. According to a report from Fightful Select, Owens has told WWE he does not want to perform on the show. This is what led to Dolph Ziggler’s surprise attack on Kingston and a subsequent title match at Super ShowDown.

Owens joins John Cena and Daniel Bryan as performers who have informed WWE they do not want to participate in one of the Saudi Arabian shows. His longtime friend/ally/rival Sami Zayn has not performed on any of the Saudi Arabian shows due to his Syrian background.

“WWE is committed to embracing individuals from all backgrounds while respecting local customs and cultural differences around the world,” read a WWE statement released shortly after it was revealed Zayn would not be traveling to Saudi Arabia.

With the addition of Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler, the Super ShowDown lineup now looks like this:

  • Triple H vs Randy Orton
  • 50-Man Battle Royal
  • Goldberg vs the Undertaker
  • Braun Strowman vs Bobby Lashley
  • Intercontinental Championship: Finn Balor (c) vs Andrade
  • Roman Reigns vs Shane McMahon
  • WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs Dolph Ziggler
