When all of Kofi Kingston’s championship reigns have been tallied, he’s spent more than 1500 days a title-holder in WWE. Since the first-ever WrestleMania in 1984, only 4 other WWE Superstars have accomplished this same feat. Kingston joins Triple H, John Cena, the Miz, and Hulk Hogan in this club.

“No matter how you look at it, that’s an impressive group to be counted among: Two Hall of Famers, a 16-time World Champion, and a fellow Grand Slam Champion. Congratulations once again to your W. W. E. World. Heavy. Weight. Champion,” a WWE Press Release for Kofi’s accomplishment reads.

Prior to the first WrestleMania, Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund also joined the 1500 days as champion club.

Kingston is easily one of the most decorated champions in WWE history. He is a former 4x Intercontinental champion, 3x United States champion, and an 8x tag-team champion. Kingston is the 13th triple crown winner in WWE history and also the 13th grand slam champion in company history.

This fall, Kofi Kingston broke the record for most days spent as a WWE tag champion. Nobody in history has spent more days wearing WWE tag team gold than Kofi Kingston has. He passed Billy Gunn’s record in September:

It's official! @TrueKofi is the #WWESuperstar with the most days as a Tag Team Champion in @WWE!
No wonder, @WWEBigE & @XavierWoodsPhD hold him in such high regard! Congratulations from #India.
