There has been speculation on WWE adding more matches to the Extreme Rules match card but it appears that this won’t be the case and the company will go with only the bouts which have been announced so far.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Officials held a production meeting on Wednesday to finalize things about Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV.

There have been rumors of the company adding Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Kabuki Warriors vs. The IIconics match to the upcoming show.

However, the decision was made not to add any more matches to the card as even if they move one of the announced 10 matches to the pre-show, there will still be 9 matches left and some matches will feel rushed.

We noted before how Stomping Grounds turned out to be one of the poorest shows in the company’s history in terms of Live attendance and overall PPV buys compared to other shows.

While there is no news on how many tickets the company has sold for Sunday’s PPV from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, the Observer notes that this will likely be the lowest drawing PPV for the city in recent memory.

Ticket sales are said to be better than the last WWE PPV and the crowd is expected to look fine on TV but it’s believed that the arena will not be sold out.

Just like Stomping Grounds, they started the 2-for-1 ticket promo for Extreme Rules this past week after the weak advance ticket sales and it will be interesting to see how many people they are able to draw through this offer.
