Chris Jericho made a special appearance at the latest event presented by AEW (All Elite Wrestling), Fight for the Fallen.

Jericho was supposed to do a promo in the ring at the event from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida that aired live on Bleacher Report’s streaming service. That didn’t happen.

Instead, he made a surprise appearance under a mask following Hangman Page’s win over Kip Sabian. Jericho hit the Code Breaker to Page and the Judas Effect.

Jericho was last seen in action under the AEW banner when he beat Kenny Omega in a classic match in the main event of the inaugural PPV event, Double or Nothing, in May.

Jericho’s most recent match came last month when he challenged Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at the Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall event but lost the match.

Jericho is slated to have another opportunity to become a World Champion. The legendary pro wrestler is slated to face Adam “Hangman” Page to crown the inaugural AEW World Champion.

This match will take place at the All Out pay-per-view event at the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago Hoffman Estates, Illinois on August 31, 2019.
