WWE has announced the next special on the WWE Network, which is titled, Smackville.

On Thursday, WWE released details on this special that will air live on their streaming service at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, July 27.

The event was previously scheduled as just being a house show but some matches at the show will be turned into a network special.

Speaking of matches, the company has announced two matches including the main event of this special. The evening will also feature a special musical performance by Elias.

First up is newly crowned Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura going head-to-head with former titleholder Finn Balor in a rematch. The other match, which will serve as the headliner, is a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship where champion Kofi Kingston will be challenged by Dolph Ziggler and Samoa Joe.

Kingston retained the WWE Championship against Joe at Extreme Rules pay-per-view event this past Sunday. He also has a history with Ziggler as he retained the title at both Super ShowDown and Stomping Grounds back in June.

Regarding the other match, Nakamura just beat Balor for the Intercontinental Title at Extreme Rules.
