The former Shane Strickland will make his 205 Live debut next Tuesday when he faces WWE Cruiserweight champion Drew Gulak in a non-title match. Now wrestling under the name Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, he is a former MLW World Champion and wrestled as Killshot in Lucha Underground.

Scott and Gulak have faced each other once previously in a single’s match. Gulak defeated Scott at a House of Glory event in 2014. He also won a fatal 4-way match against Scott, Lince Dorado, and Mark Angelosetti for EVOLVE that same year. They also were in a 6-way for DragonGate together in 2013 and a 4-way for WXW in 2014.

“This Tuesday on WWE 205 Live, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak will battle NXT Superstar Isiah “Swerve” Scott in a special 205 Live vs. NXT non-title match. Plus, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick and Mike Kanellis will sign their match contract,” a WWE press release for the match reads.

Also scheduled for this Tuesday’s edition of 205 Live, will be Mike Kannelis and Jack Gallagher signing a match contract. Smackdown and 205 Live this week will take place inside Miami’s American Airlines Arena.
