The latest update on whether The Undertaker will be working the upcoming WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event has surfaced online.

Although the original belief was that “The Deadman” would be working this show with his rumored opponent to be Drew McIntyre, that’s not the case. The Undertaker is currently not scheduled to be at this year’s show, according to the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Taker vs. McIntyre was locally advertised but has since been pulled. Dave Meltzer reports that match is not in the plans as of now. McIntyre was reportedly on Taker’s shortlist of opponents he wanted to face.

The Undertaker was last seen in action at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to beat McIntyre and Shane McMahon in an Extreme Rules Tag Team match.
