Impact Wrestling’s weekly TV show will not be moving to AXS. Talks between Anthem Sports and Entertainment and the network have fallen through. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AXS decided against adding a new wrestling show to their lineup.

“Talks with AXS have appeared to have fallen through which is a disaster since the company has had the expectation they would get on AXS for months,” wrote Dave Meltzer.

One of the main reasons we won’t be seeing Impact on AXS is that the channel is already home to two other wrestling promotions.

“AXS decided against picking up another wrestling show since they already have New Japan and Women of Wrestling,” the report continued.

Anthem Sports and Entertainment was also negotiating to purchase AXS. These talks had been going on since December and the idea was that Impact would move to Pursuit while the deal was being negotiated and move to AXS once it was finalized.

“The sale talks, for Anthem Media to purchase AXS from Mark Cuban, R. Seacrest Media, CAA and CBS, evidently have also fallen through,” Meltzer continued.

Impact recently announced that they have signed a new deal with Twitch and will continue to air their weekly show there.
