Jon Moxley has been receiving high praise for his performance in the G1 Climax tournament so far. However, with AEW gearing up for the launch of its weekly TV show, people have been wondering how long Moxley will be able to compete in NJPW.

During a recent interview with Nikkan Sport in Japan, the former WWE Champion discussed a number of things including his start in professional wrestling, which stars he wants to face in New Japan and more.

When asked what his plans are after the G1 special and if he will be able to participate in New Japan again, Mox said that there is no problem in fighting in NJPW while belonging to an American organization:

“Fortunately, there is no problem in fighting in New Japan while belonging to an American organization (AEW). In the future, I can always show up in Japan and play games.”

Jon was also asked why he joined NJPW after leaving WWE and replying to the question, he said that he wanted serious professional wrestling and not entertainment that played crappy characters.

He went on to reveal that he was a big fan of Japanese professional wrestling. Mox claimed that Japanese wrestling was a serious place and he knew that it was his origin.

Apart from this, Jon Moxley also talked about wrestling in long league matches, if New Japan was what he had envisioned and more.
