The journey to the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event is over and with the “biggest party of the summer’ in the rearview, it’s time to look ahead starting with tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

With there only being one title change on Sunday’s show, the continuation of storylines that were going into SummerSlam will likely take place aside from one.

With Seth Rollins beating Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Title, it appears that WWE will move away from that program as Lesnar is not advertised to appear on this show.

Last week, WWE officially announced two matches for tonight’s episode of RAW. Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz in a singles match. Also, Asuka and Kairi Sane vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross with the titles on the line will take place.

WWE holds this show in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena. WWE is advertising the following items for tonight’s broadcast:

  • Rollins once again slays The Beast
  • Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against The Kabuki Warriors
  • The Miz and Dolph Ziggler to face off
  • What’s on tap next for Becky Lynch?
  • Can The O.C. remain “Too Sweet” after SummerSlam?

WWE will also be creating new programs and building on the hype for existing feuds that will take place heading into the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event.

As usual, fans should expect more matches and segments to be revealed this afternoon for RAW.
