Josh Barnett has revealed that another former WWE Superstar will be a part of Game Changer Wrestling’s upcoming BloodSport II event.

In a recent Tweet, Barnett shared that former WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion, Santino Marella, is set to appear at the show.

There is no word on who Santino, whose real name is Anthony Carelli, will be competing against at the event at this point in time.

“From Judo to Battlearts and MMA, this man has all the credentials for Bloodsport.

Anthony Carelli is coming to score the ippon Sept 14th.

Carelli actually has an extensive history with Judo, having trained in the martial art since he was 9 years old.

Given that GCW’s BloodSport II intends to be a hard-hitting blend of pro wrestling and mixed martial arts, it appears that the former Santino will fit in nicely with the promotion’s efforts.

After initially retiring a few years ago, Carelli has since been competing in the odd match. He has competed and appeared for Destiny World Wrestling, Battle Arts Academy, and Impact Wrestling. He recently returned as Santino Marella for a short skit during WWE’s RAW Reunion show.

BloodSport II takes place on September 14th. It will be available live via FITE TV.
