Cain Velasquez isn’t wasting any time in his pro wrestling career as he’s getting back into the ring.

According to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, Velasquez will continue his desire to wrestle when AAA holds two shows in the United States this year.

Per the report, he’ll be working AAA’s September 15th show at New York City’s Hulu Theatre and their October 13th show at Los Angeles’ Forum.

The company has not officially announced him for either show or his opponents. This comes after the news was made about AAA moving their show from Madison Square Garden to the Hulu Theatre.

Raimondi also stated that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion does have plans to make a return to the sport that made him a name which is MMA.

This is despite him falling on tough times inside of the Octagon as he has fought sparingly over the past few years due to injury.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion teamed up with Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown in a six-man tag team match against Texano Jr., Taurus, and a mystery partner at TripleMania.

This show went down on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, at Arena Ciudad in Mexico City and aired on Twitch. This marked his pro wrestling debut.
