A new match has been set for the next pay-per-view event under the Impact Wrestling banner, Bound for Glory.

On Friday, the promotion announced Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie will be defending her title against Tenille Dashwood at the show.

Valkyrie currently is the longest reigning Knockouts Champion as she’s held the title for over 260+ days.

Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view event will take place on Sunday, October 20th from the Odeum Expo Center in Chicago, Illinois.

As of this writing, only a handful of matches including the main event has been announced for the show. Here is the updated card:

    • Impact World Champion Brian Cage vs. Sami Callihan
    • Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie vs. Tenille Dashwood
    • Moose vs. Ken Shamrock
    • Michael Eglin vs. Naomichi Marufuji
    • Rascalz vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. and two partners of his choosing – Six-Man Tag Team Match

The three-hour event begins October 20th at 8 p.m. ET and will be available on all major PPV distributors, including DISH, DirecTV, iN Demand, Vubiquity, Rogers, Bell, Shaw, Sasktel. Also, it will be streamed live globally on Impact Plus and the FITE.tv app.

Not the best of cards, but not the worst either. I feel that Taya could have defended the title against someone who's more of a postergirl of the company, but I guess the company needs to build up news stars. It just don't feel BFG worthy in a way.
