National Wrestling Alliance has unveiled the new NWA Women’s World Championship during the press conference in Atlanta on Monday.

The belt goes back to its roots with an old style feel to it, as it sports the champion’s picture in the center instead of having just a nameplate. The belt is designed by Belts By Dan.

You can take a look at the title below, which features the current champion Allysin Kay’s picture in the center:

Here is NWA’s press conference that the company streamed on its YouTube page from the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta this Monday morning:

The NWA World Women’s Championship descended from the original Women’s World Championship which was won by Mildred Burke in 1935. The Fabulous Moolah has held the title more times than any other wrestler, with a total of five reigns to her name. She also has the longest reign of 3,651 days, or 9 years. She has a combined reign of 11,106 days, or around 30 years.

Allysin Kay is in her first reign after Jazz vacated the championship due to medical and personal reasons. She was supposed to face Jazz but after Jazz relinquished her championship, Allysin defeated Santana Garrett at the Crockett Cup in April this year to win the vacated title.
