WWE is bringing back their Tribute to the Troops special for another year.

This 17th annual event will take place on Friday, December 6, in Fayetteville, North Carolina at the Crown Coliseum. The event will be taped as part of the Friday Night SmackDown event the same evening.

This marks the first show in the city in over seven years. As of this writing, WWE has yet to provide an airing date for the special on the USA Network but it will likely air around Christmas.

Last year’s show was taped on Tuesday, December 4th, at Fort Hood, Texas.

WWE has previously touted the show as an “honor our servicemen and women and their families. In the tradition of Bob Hope, WWE brings together the best of sports, entertainment and pop culture with celebrity appearances and performances from music’s most popular acts in what is considered TV’s most patriotic and heartwarming show of the year.”

Crown Coliseum is advertising the following stars to appear at the show.

  • Roman Reigns
  • The Fiend Bray Wyatt
  • Daniel Bryan
  • The New Day
  • Braun Strowman
  • Bayley
  • Sasha Banks
  • Shinsuke Nakamura
  • Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
  • King Corbin

WWE has yet to announce any matches or segments for the show but will do so as it gets closer.
