It’s going to be a busy week for NXT Champion Adam Cole. The Undisputed Era leader is not only set to compete tonight on NXT in a ladder match, he will also be featured in a WarGames matchup this Saturday at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. In addition to these physically demanding matches, it’s now been announced that Cole will be defending his NXT Championship the day after this hellacious encounter at Survivor Series. All of this while the Superstar continues to deal with an injury.

WWE made the announcement that a new number one contender will be determined on tonight’s episode of NXT. A Triple Threat match between Pete Dunne, Killian Dain and Damien Priest will face off for the opportunity on Sunday.

Dunne has been feuding with both Dain and Priest in recent weeks. Last week, he and Dain were meant to compete in the ring. Their match would never start, however, as Dain was attacked by Priest during his entrance. It didn’t take long for things to devolve into an all-out brawl between the three of them.

Cole joins his Undisputed Era stablemates Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish this Saturday. They take on the tea of Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic and a yet to be announced partner in a WarGames match.

NXT TakeOver: WarGames takes place from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
