Charlotte Flair and Andrade have each filed for new wrestling-related trademarks. Real name Ashley Fliehr has applied to trademark the term “Queen of Wrestling” and the name “Ashley Flair” on November 27th, 2019.

Flair’s partner Andrade also filed for some trademarks recently. Under his real name of Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza, Andrade applied to trademark the names “La Sombra” and “El Idolo” also on November 27th.

Flair’s application for “Queen of Wrestling” and “Ashley Flair” includes the listed purposes of “Hats; Hooded sweat shirts; Pants; Shirts; Short-sleeved or long-sleeved t-shirts.”

“The English translation of EL IDOLO in the mark is THE IDOL,” Andrade’s application reads.

Flair and Andrade applying to trademark certain wrestling terms comes on the heels of WWE and Cody applying for trademarks related to event names. WWE is said to be attempting to block some of Cody’s trademark attempts.

WWE has also applied to trademark two names of former ECW events.

Also recently, Luke Harper has applied to trademark his former wrestling name of Brodie Lee
