Tonight, when AEW Dynamite airs from the Landers Center in Southaven, MS, a tribute to the legends of Memphis wrestling will take place. The Young Bucks spoke with The Commercial Appeal recently about their plans to honor some of wrestling’s greats from the area.

“I think the idea is Tony (Khan) wanted to do a 10-bell salute for all of the fallen brothers,” said Matt Jackson.

The following legends will be honored tonight on Dynamite:

  • Angelo Poffo & Randy Savage
  • Lance Russell
  • “Hot Stuff” Eddie & Tommy Gilbert
  • Brian Christopher
  • Austin Idol
  • Dave Brown
  • The Rock & Roll Express

“It would have been great to have ‘The King,’ but obviously he’s working elsewhere,” Matt Jackson continued.
