Fans will be in attendance at Stardom's Cinderella tournament next week.
The one-night tournament is taking place at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on Tuesday (March 24). "Fans will be allowed entry to the show, but will undergo a physical check, with their temperature taken," Stardom announced. "No entry will be allowed if temp is over 37°C (98.6°F). Masks will be distributed for free."
Stardom had noted earlier this week that they'd have details about whether or not fans could attend the show after Japan's government had a special meeting with experts on the coronavirus.
The first round of the tournament will air live on YouTube for free starting at 5:30 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday. The full show will be available later that night on Stardom World.
Mayu Iwatani vs. Hana Kimura, Utami Hayashishita vs. Maika, Natsuko Tora vs. Saya Kamitani, Tam Nakano vs. Saki Kashima, Syuri vs. Jamie Hayter, Konami vs. AZM, Jungle Kyona vs. Giulia, and Momo Watanabe vs. Starlight Kid are the first round matches. The tournament is single-elimination and matches can be won by pinfall, submission, or throwing your opponent over the top rope.
Jushin Thunder Liger will be a special guest at the show.
DDT also returned to allowing fans at their shows with similar preventative measures at Judgement 2020 at Korakuen Hall today.
