During last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE replayed a key moment from the main event of WrestleMania 31. The promotion featured a countdown of their top Money in the Bank moments over the past few years. Seth Rollins cashing in his opportunity took the number one spot. He would end up winning Brock Lesnar’s WWE Championship. There was another important Superstar involved with that cash in, however: Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns was noticeably edited out of Rollins’ moment, with the company neither featuring nor mentioning “The Big Dog” during the footage. Although Rollins curb stomped Lesnar, he would actually pin Reigns to win the championship.

This comes off the reported news that WWE officials and on-air personalities were not to mention Reigns on WWE TV. No definitive reason was given behind this choice. It’s worth noting, however, that WWE’s decision followed Reigns making the call to not participate in WWE’s recent WrestleMania 36 event.

Reigns was scheduled to compete against then-WWE Universal Champion Goldberg. Braun Stowman would replace him and ultimately claim the belt for himself.

Roman Reigns made the decision to not wrestle at WrestleMania 36 due to his past battles with leukemia which have left him immunocompromised and, thus, at a higher risk compared to other Superstars.

It was been speculated that it may be months before Roman Reigns will reappear on WWE programming depending on his safety and the potential further spread of the coronavirus.

They literally edit out #SethRollins pinning #RomanReigns at Wrestlemania 31 for the WWE Championship wtf?! #RAW
