Kingston attacks Gallows with a piper right off the bat and the two end up battling through the crowd. Moxley throws Anderson into the corner and lays into him with chops. Archer brings up how Moxley took the title from him a year ago, but it’s time for his rematch. He said they had a Texas Deathmatch in Japan, so how about they have another one in Texas, next week!

– Alex Abrahantes talked with Andrade El Idolo (with his assistant). Andrade cuts of Alex and has a question for him. “Where is the death triangle?” He tells Alex to give them a message, “El Idolo is looking for them.”

Starks to the outside, gets the title, Cage follows and smacks Starks. He tosses the title in the ring. – On commentary, Taz is super happy about what happened as it looks like it was the plan for Hobbs to help Starks win the title from Cage. The group celebrates they go up the ramp.

– Look back at Malakai Black’s debut. Cody Rhodes comes out to commentary and cuts a promo on Black. He understands Black wants to take out a franchise player to be a franchise player, but knocking out someone like Arn Anderson is not the way to do it! Cody doesn’t feel like he’s getting his point across and gets a mic. He heads down to the ring to continue talking. Cody says he feels like fighting and calls for Black. Up on the big screen, Black asks if he heard the crowd when he knocked out him and Cody. Maybe he loves the fans more than the fans love violence. Black tells a story about a horse than won numerous titles, but once the horse couldn’t win and was in pain, it was time to put down his horse. Cody tells Black to come down to the ring and face him! Out comes Callis, Young Bucks, Good Brothers, Cutler, and Omega. Callis says Page knows he’s not that guy that can take the title. Matt says he’s going to say something to Page’s face. Matt hops in the ring and asks Page if he remembers them, the best friends he abandoned (for a bunch of losers). He can tell Page is still hitting the bottle, which hits the narrative of the sad, lonely cowboy that’s drunk and by himself in the end. Matt says only Page has himself to blame, because let’s face it, you’re the next great wrestling tragedy. Matt says he doesn’t have the balls to hit him, and Page clocks him.

Omega tries for the title cheap shot from behind, but Dark Order runs out and makes the save. Page says he came here tonight for a match and he’s not leaving until he gets one. Omega grabs a mic and says they can do that, how about 5 vs. 5 elimination style match: Dark Order/Page vs. The Elite. Page says he doesn’t want that match, but if that’s what they have to do, then so be it. Page says when they win, he gets a title shot, and some of the Dark Order gets a shot at the tag title. The Elite huddle up and Omega seems to have a plan. He gets in the ring, he tells Page is making a lot of demands, and The Elite isn’t getting anything in exchange! Kenny says if The Elite wins, none of them get title shots. He says Omega is actually just afraid of failing in an attempt to get Page to go away. Page says neither he nor the Dark Order back down from a fight and he’s on!

– Backstage, Marvez talks to Chris Jericho about MJF’s stipulations that Jericho has to get through for a match. Jericho says he doesn’t care what MJF puts in front of him, he will walk through fire to get to MJF. Jericho keeps talking away as Spears walks in and jams him in the throat with a chair. MJF says he just wanted to return the favor with that chairshot and next week’s match will be a match against Shawn Spears. Spears can use a chair, but Jericho can’t. Spears then hits Jericho’s bad elbow with the chair.

– In the ring, Tony Schiavone introduces AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker. Tony talks about Nyla Rose putting Baker through a table, and people are worried about Baker’s well-being. She says don’t worry, she’s dealt with worse, the wounds healed and it’s why she’s the baddest b**** on the block. Baker says imagine winning the title and finding out her challenger is Rose. Yes, Rose has beaten her before, but right now Baker is in a league of her own. Baker knows Vickie is in the back listening, and she has a last name that will keep her relevant forever in wrestling, but Rose doesn’t. She needs this title. Baker says she’s the hottest thing in wrestling with the title, but even without it she’s Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. Cut to the back, Vickie screams at the camera that they are going to beat her ass next week.
