CM Punk Says He Has An Important Career Announcement To Make On Tonight’s AEW Rampage

CM Punk has a major announcement to make on tonight’s AEW Rampage from the Forum in Los Angeles.

The current world champion does specify that the announcement will be in regards to the title, as well as his career. The way the tweet is worded makes it seem as if Punk is going to be relinquishing the gold possibly due to an injury as he was seen noticeably limping after his trios tag team matchup on Dynamite.

His short statement reads, “I’ll be on #AEWRampage live tonight with an important announcement in regards to the @aew world championship, and my career. Please tune in at 9pm CST/10pm EST.”

Aside from Punk’s announcement Scorpion Sky will be defending the TNT championship on Rampage against Top Flight’s Dante Martin. This match was made official on Dynamite.

Making her AEW in-ring debut will be Athena, formerly known as Ember Moon in WWE, who will be clashing with Kiera Hogan from the Baddies.

Finally the Young Bucks will be clashing with their longtime rivals the Lucha Bros in tag team action. The two former tag champions haven’t faced-off since their epic cage matchup at ALL OUT 2021.
