Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are back on WWE programming and are on the hunt for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

During this week's Raw, a scheduled tag-title match pitting Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville was nixed due to Morgan being injured. Instead, Rodriguez faced Green in singles action and got the win over the shortest Women's Rumble appearance record holder. Post-match Rodriguez was laid out by the returning Baszler and Rousey.

Rousey and Baszler have been off of TV for weeks due to Rousey dealing with an arm injury. This injury was aggravated prior to WrestleMania 39, but Rousey reportedly insisted on working at the event. At WrestleMania, Rousey and Baszler won the Women's Showcase tag match against the pairings of Rodriguez/Morgan, Natalya/Shotzi, and Green and Deville.

Given that Rousey and Baszler returned by ambushing one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, it is clear that the pair are on the hunt for the gold. These are plans that have been in the works for some time, with WWE's initial plan being for the MMA fighters to challenge for the gold at WrestleMania 39.

Any title match will have to wait until Morgan is fully healed or WWE makes a decision to strip Liv and Raquel of the titles. During Raw, Green, and Deville appealed for Adam Pearce to strip Morgan and Rodriguez of the championships due to Liv being unable to compete. There is no word on when Morgan is expected back in the ring.
