As WWE locks in its summer 2023 touring schedule, we've got an update on what to expect from the company's developmental brand in the months ahead.

The next big NXT show is Battleground, which takes place over Memorial Day Weekend on Sunday, May 28 from Lowell, Massachusetts at the Tsongas Center.

NXT Battleground will be headlined by Carmelo Hayes defending the NXT Championship against former champion, Bron Breakker.

Other top matches include NXT North American Champion Wes Lee defending against Tyler Bate and Joe Gacy, as well as the finals of the NXT Women's Championship Tournament and Noam Dar vs. Dragon Lee in a "British Rounds Rules" match for the NXT Heritage Cup.

The next NXT PLE after Battleground will be held on Saturday, August 12. This is one week after WWE SummerSlam, scheduled for August 5. The location of this unnamed NXT PLE is TBD. The show will stream live on Peacock.
