Alicia Fox's hiatus from pro wrestling is officially over.
Last month, Fox announced that she is a free agent after being part of the WWE family since 2006. Her final in-ring appearance took place in January 2022 in the Women's Royal Rumble. Prior to that, she hadn't wrestled since the prior year's Rumble.
She later stated that she is not retired from the ring. She assured her fans, "Love y’all CYA SOON" We now know that "SOON" will happen in just one month's time.
On Tuesday, Booker T's Reality of Wrestling announced that Alicia Fox will make her return to wrestling at their biggest event of the summer, Summer Of Champions IX.
The show takes place Saturday, July 15 from the Humble Civic Center in Humble, TX. If you're in the area, head over to RealityofWrestling.com for ticket information.
Fox is a former WWE Divas Champion and a former 24/7 Champion. Both belts have since been retired.
"Alicia Fox" is a trademark owned by WWE since October 14, 2013, so it's unlikely she will continue appearing under that name. Her birth name is Victoria Crawford.
She recently joined the Twitch streaming platform using the handle @VIX_CROW, so maybe we'll see that name incorporated into a new ring name. Her Twitch bio reads:
"#VIXCROW FKA ‘alicia’ 🦊 (@WWE 2006-2023) First and ONLY 🙏🏾AFRICAN AMERICAN 🙏🏾 WWE ‘DIVAS’ CHAMPION (PERIOD) MOTHER OF MY OWN NATURE"
