Johnny Gargano could be back on Monday Night Raw within a matter of days if recent teases by the Superstar are to be believed.

Gargano, the first-ever NXT Triple Crown Champion, returned to WWE in August of last year as one of the several rehirings by WWE's Head of Talent Paul 'Triple H' Levesque. Gargano's return also saw him called up to Monday Night Raw, where he has feuded with Austin Theory and Baron Corbin. At WWE Elimination Chamber earlier this year, Gargano unsuccessfully competed inside the titular structure for the United States Championship.

Last December, it was reported that Gargano had suffered a shoulder injury during a WWE live event at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Taking to Twitter to confirm the grade-2 AC sprain, Gargano made it clear he was eager to return and wanted to be part of the 2023 Men's Royal Rumble match.

Gargano did not appear during the match, but his return could take place on next week's Raw. Taking to Twitter once more, Gargano tweeted that there's no place like home, a nod to next week's Raw being in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

If Gargano does make his return to WWE Raw next week, he may be in arguably the most high-profile match on the night. Next week's Raw will see World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defend his title in an open challenge against a yet-to-be-announced opponent. Judging by the comments to Gargano's tweet, many expect him to be the one to answer Rollins' challenge. Next week's Raw will also see Shinsuke Nakamura face Bronson Reed.
